It took long enough - but Elgin finally grabbed their first home league win of the season at the ninth time of asking. Craig Gunn's return to scoring form was timely, as a strike either side of half time paved the way for a City win which was pretty convincing in the end.

Forfar Game Off

Following a 9.30am pitch inspection, today's Third Division fixture against Forfar Athletic at Station Park was deemed unplayable due to a frozen pitch. The match is likely to be rescheduled for a midweek date later in the season.

Seven weeks without a game took its toll on Elgin as they were humbled at home by promotion chasing Berwick. Ross Jack's side fell apart once goalscorer Mark Nicolson was sent off for aiming a kick at an opponent just before the hour mark.

Slick City Undone At Almondvale

Elgin used the wide open space of Livingston's Almondvale to turn in one of their best displays of the season, but it wasn't quite enough to see off the high-flying leaders in a 1-0 loss last night.

Ross reflects on a year in the hotseat

Since taking one of Scottish football’s most challenging jobs almost a year ago, Ross Jack is the first to admit his tenure as City boss hasn’t gone exactly according to plan. However, with a slight upturn in fortunes and some more work, he sees a positive future for the club – both this season and beyond.
